The Director
Directed by Philip John
Philip John is a multi-BAFTA-nominated Welsh director. Pontywaun-born and punk-rooted — he left home at sixteen to start a record label — he has spent thirty years in high-end television and film, and is drawn to working-class, iconoclastic stories. Now he's bringing The Rag home to the valleys: told in lurid colour with loose, hand-held documentary energy.
